2025 CSCC ROAD RALLY SEASON

June Rally Results

Twelve teams entered and five teams ran the June 7 Saturday Series Rally. Perhaps the Portland Rose Festival kept many of our “regular” rallyists away on this busy weekend.

Thank you to our Rallymasters, Russ and Katy Kraushaar. It takes a lot of time and effort to put together an event like this. Thank you also to Torm Kelsey-Green and Kasey Klaus for running the checkout.

Now, congratulations to the top rally finishers!

First overall and first in the SOP Class – Alexander Castaneda and Eric Hanson
Second overall and second in the SOP Class – David and JoAnn Gattman
Third overall and third in the SOP Class – Bill Kayser and Bjorn Freeman-Benson
Fourth overall and fourth in the SOP Class – Andrew Brewer and Kat Iverson
Fifth overall and first in the Equipped Category –  Robert Paxman and Kathy Sacry

July 19 Saturday Series Rally

Rallymaster Bob Morseburg is offering a masterful Saturday Series Rally on July 19, starting at Milwaukie Lowe’s, ending in Sandy. The July rally’s title, 8th Grade Math, may be a harbinger of what’s to come. The rally route will be easy to follow. Some trickiness may be expected, especially where time keeping is important (and time keeping is important all the time in time-speed-distance road rally).

Cascade Sports Car Club's Road Rally program (aka Cascade Geargrinders) offers beginner-friendly time-speed-distance road rallies, lasting three to four hours, starting and ending in the Portland area. These events are open to club members and non-members, and to all types of vehicles. Road rally is a game you play while going for a drive in the country.
